The Berbers of Northern Africa are known from their exquisite silver jewelry decorated with green and yellow enamel. The Hand of Fatima and two barrels dangle from the large Berber “egg” that is the focal point of this piece. Large copal amber beads, Venetian trade beads, smaller Berber and amber beads and coral-colored glass complete the strand.
